Grand Cru — Blanc de Blancs — Vintage
Signé François 2012
Cramant
The footprint of a Grand Cru — power, finesse and chalky vibrancy.
Eye
Luminous, slightly fluid appearance, pale golden yellow with bright yellow reflections. Continuous stream of fine bubbles.
Nose
Expressive, harmonious first nose — brioche, hawthorn blossom, acacia honey, wet and creamy chalk, milk caramel. Once aerated: toasted hazelnut, candied quince, Carensac liquorice, peppermint, fresh meringue, heady white rose, hints of sea spray.
Palate
Explicit, supple attack with silky bubbles. Pulpy, creamy fruitiness sustained by a well-balanced, tense acidity. Refined mid-palate, precise in savor and mouthfeel — a fusion of fruity and chalky notes with pure saltiness.
Finish
A lingering finish, with remarkable brilliance and chalky vibrancy. The 2012 vintage gave great balance for Champagne, enabling the full expression of power and finesse of our terroir.
