Cramant

Grand Cru — Blanc de Blancs

Cramant

Cramant

Gentleness, finesse, elegance — the faithful expression of pulpy chardonnay on chalk.

Eye

Luminous, pale yellow with deep yellow reflections. Continuous stream of very fine bubbles.

Nose

Elegant first nose, typical of the Cramant area — great harmony of white flowers, creamy chalk and fresh feeling. Once aerated: lemon, acacia and freesia blossoms, fresh grapes, fresh pear, mint, fresh anise, wet chalk, herbal teas.

Palate

Supple, fresh attack with creamy bubbles. Pulpy and creamy fruitiness sustained by lemony acidity that contributes to overall freshness. A wonderfully pulpy mid-palate, the feeling of being inside the grape with chalky compounds.

Finish

Aerial finish with creamy, fruity sweetness.

The village

Cramant, Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs

At the village entrance, the giant bottle watches over the slopes that give this cuvée its character: a pulpy chardonnay grown on chalk, with a finesse recognised among the greatest crus of Champagne.
