A light, bouquet-rich and pleasant wine — the fruity quality of Vertus reds.

Eye

Captivating medium-depth cherry-red, illuminated by ruby reflections that give depth to the glass.

Nose

Eloquent and enchanting first nose — basket of ripe fleshy fruit (bigarreau and morello cherries), raspberry, liquorice. Once aerated: peppermint, fresh blackcurrant, blackberry, rose, rosewood.

Palate

Supple first contact. Velvety, fruity texture balanced by integrated red-fruit acidity. Coated tannins complement the silky fruit, lifted by subtle spice and liquorice.

Finish

Rich, fruity, crisp and juicy finish, extended by a limestone base bringing salinity. A return of light and smoky oak adds length and aging potential.
